Become a member of FLS in 2026

Your participation in FLS is invaluable to the growth of the English-speaking literary community of Florence.
Here’s what you receive by becoming a member of FLS:

• Free attendance to all FLS writing workshops during the year that are exclusive to FLS members.
• Early bird & priority access to publishing day in Florence, November 7th, 2026.
• Your photo and bio on our members page so you can more easily connect with fellow writers and editors.
• A discount on books from local bookstore The Paperback Exchange (applicable both at their in store location and online store).
• A new Writer’s Classifieds page where you can list ways you’re available to help your fellow writers (such as being a beta reader or editing services) and/or post the help you’re seeking – New!
• A dedicated page to showcase your book to the community – New!

What is the cost?

The cost to become a member of FLS is €35 until the end of 2025. In 2026 the cost will be €40.

Youth price for anyone under 25 is €20.

At all FLS events there will be the opportunity to become a member on site where we can take cash payments.

By wire transfer / bonifico.

• Make a wire transfer of €35 (euros) to the IBAN below.
• IMPORTANT: Please send us an email at florenceliterarysociety@gmail.com to tell us you have sent this transfer and with the following information.
  • Your full name
  • Address
  • Italian codice fiscale
  • Date of Birth
  • You are also invited to send us your bio and picture to be included on the members page of the site.
• Once the payment has come through and we have received the above information, you will receive a pdf tessera to confirm your membership.
